My friend Wilma has a broken lawn mower.  It’s been giving her fits off and on for a while now.  She finally called the manufacturer and they came and got it to repair it.  After about 2 weeks of waiting to get it back, she called them to find out why her lawnmower hadn’t been delivered back to her.  Their answer: “We can’t find your lawnmower.  We’re going to bring you a new one.”

We laughed and laughed when she told me this story and decided it was JUST. LIKE. GOD. to take something broken and turn it into something new.

He can do the same thing with your broken thing too.  Your broken heart.  Your broken life.  Your broken dreams.  God specializes in building and rebuilding and binding up and repairing.  Give it to Him and let Him do what He does best!
